Remember that there will be exceptions to these standings and these are not based off preferential treatment (in other words factors may not be publicly known on decisions made):
Officer - Usually means a member with long standing in the guild (a year at least) and actually has a "role" in the guild (ie Billy - lootmaster, general maintenance of guild bank; Blade - in charge of dkp).
Attends raids regularly and contributes to the guild on a daily basis.
Raid lead - Someone that contributes to the guild, looks out for other guild members, puts the guild and raiding first, attends regularly, and shows the ability to lead raid...again someone with long standing in the guild (6 months or longer)
Raid member - Someone that contributes to the guild, looks out for other guild members, puts the guild and raiding first, attends regularly without causing drama (ie frequent afks, outbursts, not listening to direction). This rank and up are granted guaranteed raid spots.
Member - Someone that contributes to the guild (ie attending raids, bank contributions, helping other guildies, etc.) puts the guild before themselves or individual motivations. does not cause drama and is not quick to react or judge others. A member that has been with guild for min 4 months or longer.
Friends and Family - Exactly what it sounds like. Ranking for our casual friends who can't or don't raid frequently
Initiate - new additions to the guild
There is no distinct time-line on promotions. We are looking for people who will long term commit and thus have no short term time-lines on promotions. Quite a few in the guild have raided together for two years now...this is long term dedication.
Things that are looked at are regular raid attendance (progression or subs for progression), being respectful of fellow guildies, contribution to the guild, and not causing drama in any shape or form (this is a big one).
Thanks ..remember it's a game and to have fun
